A lifelong artist, Gretchen Kish Serrano has become well known for her distinctive pet art collection. A graduate of Northern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, she continued her studies at the Art Institute of Chicago while working as an art director at Leo Burnett Advertising.
These experiences together with the life-changing adoptions of Sophie and Penelope, her rescued mixed-breed loves, have been the inspiration behind the creation of Paw Palettes.

Influenced by the artists she most admires, her artwork is reminiscent of Picasso, van Gogh and Matisse among others. Gretchen Kish Serrano founded Paw Palettes® in 2007 to share her playful, master-inspired collection with both art and pet lovers.
A Thank you to Paw Palettes Patrons:
"For all who have helped and encouraged me—from my family and friends; to those who have emailed photos for reference; to those who have purchased my art, art prints, note cards, coffee mugs, pillows or garden flags—you are all part of the creation of Paw Palettes Art Collection: a tribute to all our pets for their unconditional love and enrichment of our lives."
